Derya Milner MA, PMP
I am a Management Consultant, Project Manager and an Electrical/Electronics Engineer and with 17 years of experience.
I have a masters' degree in Leading Innovation and Change from York St John University. My research project was "An Examination of the Relationship Between Leadership, Organisational Culture, and Innovation System and Their Effects on Each Other in the UK Part of a Multinational, Military, High Technology Company".
I have been accredited as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute (PMI) since June 2011.
I am a member and volunteer of PMI-UK and PMI-TR.
I have been giving Project Management and MSP courses and lectures live online, face to face in the Electrical Engineering Chamber, Gazi University, exhibitions and giving live on-line management development trainings on the subjects of Innovation Management, Change Management, Time Management, Motivation, Leadeship, Team Building, and Creativity.
My career, skills and experience have progressed with various companies which enabled me to work on a wide variety of business cases and projects.
My first postgraduate employment was as a Lighting Engineer at Enersis where I had previously completed my second industrial placement and thesis project. I am proud that my thesis project was applied in a newly developed holiday village complex. Next I worked as a sales and marketing engineer, a project engineer, an electrical chief, a project manager, a technical manager, an expert design engineer on the modernisation projects of Sikorsky S-70A28 Blackhawk, Boeing AH-64 Apache and AgustaWestland AW129 platforms at Turkish Aerospace Industry (TAI) for seven and half years. I have completed a 9 month secondment in AgustaWestland in the UK to technically co-ordinate a helicopter project.I was the Representative of the Electrical Engineering Chamber and founder of the Innovation Group at TAI.
